Why HEIC won't open
HEIC saves space but is newer and not supported everywhere — especially older Windows, web forms and many editors. JPG is supported by virtually everything.
How to convert
- Open the converter below and drop in your HEIC file.
- It is decoded and re-saved as JPG locally in your browser.
- Download the JPG — now openable on any device.
Tips
- To stop the problem at the source, set your iPhone camera to "Most Compatible" (Settings → Camera → Formats).
- Converting to JPG is also handy before uploading to forms that reject HEIC.
